Good to see messages from Sumit Bazari & Amit ('99).

I have not yet received information from school regarding the website...apparently there is already one in existence! So, will wait until that is confirmed until we can go ahead with that. Meanwhile, does anyone have any ideas on how we can find some site in which everyone can write without a moderator. Something like orkut but a forum in which one doesn't need accounts. The idea is to enable everyone to see each others' messages without having accounts in any mail service. A lot of people will neither have time nor inclination to open new accounts. So people, please keep checking if there is any message board that can accept anon users!

Just to keep everyone on the same page, there are now 26 members on orkut! Great going people!

Finally back!

Hello Everyone,

I am finally back full time to the site! Had loads of things to catch up on last few weeks, so had to take time off!

Well, as I was going through the namesdatabase site, I realized that all along I had been looking at only 6 years before and after my batch, and hence could not see any people 2000 onwards... realized the folly today and have been sending out invites ever since. But not too many people are responding. Guess will have to work doubly fast on the site now. Sudeep has extended a helping hand, and hopefully I shall be able to utilize all the help he gives me.

Alright then, hope to hear from some of you at least!

I am thrilled to see so many mails being exchanged of late. Looks like there is a lot of currnet flowing now. That's wonderful!

Thanks to Manoj Singla, Hitesh Lath, Ankur Gupta, Manish Gupta, Harsh Wadhwani & Alka Kaul for writing in. I am in a bit of a jam right now, and would be active only in about a week or so. So, my apologies for not replying to everyone..... excusez moi!!

Hello Everyone,

I am really excited at having received messages from Neeraj and Praveen. While Neeraj was my classmate, Praveen is a senior. It is heartening to see that people are taking out time to respond! Praveen has also posted his message as a comment. You can click on individual comments against each days blog to check out who all have been writing (other than me :))

So, I am done with sending invitations to all those who have registered themselves on namesdatabase.com, with the exception of Swapan Jain '99 and Vivekanand Tripathi '99. And that's not because I am lazy...thats because the site allows me to send messages to only 20 people in one day.

If any of you are intouch with other alums not listed in my already invited list, please do contact them and let them know of this blog. It would be a good thing to have the database ready when we have the school website up and running.

And Rohit... why don't you collect some more people buddy?

Prabhu Dayal Public School Alums - Welcome

Welcome to the blogspot of PDPS alums..yes, our very own Prabhu Dayal Public School!

Over the past one year I tried to trace ex-students and get them to register on my yahoogroups, but the process is tedious and has not proven to be much of a success. So, while I create a school website in some time, I followed the example of my other friends who maintain blogs for alums. So, please do send me your contact info so that I can make a database on the website. Also forward this blogspot to other people you are in touch with.
