Class of 1994

I completed XII in 1994, finished my bachelors in Maths from Stephen's, completed masters in Apparel Marketing & Merchandising in '99, worked with Arvind Mills, Nike etc. for over 6 years and am married, and now in US.

I have news of a few more batchmates:

Praveen Gupta finished college from Hans Raj, is married, has two kids, and manages his businesses.

Dushyant Nayak completed his bachelors in Law, is married, has a baby daughter, and practices law at Tis Hazari Courts.

Jeevan Pal Singh, too is a lawyer, is married (dont knwo about kids), and practices at Tis Hazari.

Mohit Bhardwaj completed a Garment Manufacturing Technology course from NIFT and is currently with ITC, Delhi. He is getting married later this month.

Neeraj Gupta is just about to finish his MD in Biochemistry from MAMC and plans to do his PhD in nuerosciences soon. He is still on the lookout for a match! Eligible candidates may contact him:)

So long then, will keep adding info about my batch as and when I get it!
Cheers!

Initiating Class Notes

Hi All,

I thought we can start with the concept of sharing class notes online. One person from each batch can share with us the whereabouts of other members of his/her batch whom he/she is in touch with. This would be to generally build up a database of all people and to see who is doing what and where.

Hope this would be workable.

Cheers!
Anshu

Msg fm Sarika Gandhi

Sarika Gandhi also joined the bandwagon this month. She is from the 1987 batch (way lot senior than any one of us!!).

Hope to hear from more people in the days to come:)
Cheers!

Orkut going great guns

Seems like Orkut memberships are doing great right now!
Thats cool!

As on date, there are 41 members. We need to have a little more patience before one can actually get a good group on alums interacting on the same page. I guess linking old alums would be a tough task but the new ones seem to be well connected via the web. So thats good news.

Keep mailing people....its good to see so many people get involved.
Also, check out the wikipedia site at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDPS
that I created some time back. Please feel free to add any meaningful content there.

Cheers!

35 and increasing!

Wow Man! This is really cool! We have 35 members on orkut now and the count is nowhere there, and still increasing! This is awesome. Looks like things are finally soaring! Thats good. Although I really wish I would hear from school people as well on what the status of the site et al is! Can't go around launching something on my own now, can I ;-)? Yahoo groups is a bit stagnant at 12 though. But that's fine as well. As long as some good souls keep joining the group and all those who are checking the namesdatabase thing keep joining, we're all doing great!

Rechristened the blog

Hmm... An idle mind is the devil's workshop, or is it a storehouse of ideas? Whatever it may be, I just remembered that our school magazine was called Bandwagon, and what better than to have an eponymous blog. Cool! I am surely impressed with myself for this! Just kidding folks!

Sometimes I think that all this effort would just go in vain.

Hey, hang on...another bright idea... why not have school students submit their experiences to this blog or wherever... and that ways, we can (32+11 right now) can even mentor them on whatever things they want to know! Hmm...this would be really great.

I got some urgent stuff to take care of until this monthend, so, will start this thing soon afterwards.
Till then,
Cheers!

Status Quo

Status quo on the school front, but both the groups are doing quite well. Orkut has gone up to 32 members and yahoogroup has 11 members. It's quite a pity though that majority of the people to whom I sent the invites have not joined either of the groups, although they have seen the blog and the groups! Well, each man unto himself. One must keep trying!

No news from my end on the school front. Will try to put in some school news on this blog now. Guess that would be more interesting!
